Hug Your...Adopted Cat

                       Who wouldn't want to hug me? Hmmm?

It just so happens that today is National Hug Your Cat Day (shouldn't that be every day?) And these tips from cats and their humans around the world will show you exactly how to get your cat hugging technique in top form.

That means you can adopt a new feline family member and just hug him or her the entire month, right? Fortunately, our good friends at PetSmart Charities have a few other ideas on how you can help homeless cats in need:

1. Ask your friends to check their “cattitude” via our online quiz.
2. Declare your cat pride! Take a selfie with your cat and enter it into our “#meowOUT Yourself Contest.”  
3. Check out our interactive graphic to learn why our feline friends need extra help, and how you can be a cat-alyst for change in your community.
