#DogDentalHealth Is Essential For Your Dog's Overall Health! #Sponsored

This post is sponsored by PetSmart and the BlogPaws Professional Pet Blogger Network. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Dental Health Month, but Bocci's Beefs only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. PetSmart is not responsible for the content of this article.

We all know that February is Pet Dental Health Month, right? Well, today we'd like to highlight one easy way to fight dental disease and improve your pet's dental health: occasionally feeding your pooch or kitty dental treats that are specifically designed to clean their teeth and gums. Along with other proactive strategies, like regular teeth brushing, and veterinarian visits that might include a professional cleaning, you can ensure that your pet's mouth stays healthy, which in turn leads to overall better health for your beloved dog or cat. What this really means is that #DogDentalHealth is essential to your canine's overall health!

Our friends at PetSmart®  are celebrating pet dental health all month long with special sales on all  dental treats, and they have a huge variety to choose from. We selected BLUE Bones®, made by The Blue Buffalo Co., to sample.

Check out this variety of BLUE Bones dental treats!

Parental Unit made a trip to PetSmart (inexplicably without me), and faced nearly an entire aisle of pet dental treats.

She quickly zeroed in on the BLUE Bones Section...

Parental Unit thought she'd try the BLUE Bones Natural Dental Chews in size "Regular" because I'm a regular kind of dog—well, really because I weigh between 25 to 50 pounds. They also make Mini, Small and big BLUE Bones for large breed dogs. Important: Know what your dog weighs and check the label for the right size!

Here's my very own bag of size Regular BLUE Bones.

                                 Don't they look tasty?

How long are ya goin' to keep me waiting, Parental Unit?

And I can assure you, they are tasty...if I can ever wrestle it from Parental Unit's hand! By the way, does this dental treat make my nose look fat?

Unfortunately, most companion animals have high rates of dental disease. In fact, over 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of dental disease (brown tartar on teeth, inflamed gums and/or bad breath), by three years of age. Rewarding your dog with high quality dental treats, plus regular brushing, and professional cleanings as recommended, will work together to keep your dog's mouth clean and healthy—and isn't that your goal during Pet Dental Health Month and all year long? We thought so...

Even I got to go … thru the magic of photo editing. Nice nose—not fat at all.
