Did you know that the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge National Finals airs nationally this Saturday, January 17, from 3-4pm EST on NBC? There's no excuse: you have to watch and/or DVR this show for later viewing. We think this competition will be exciting enough to watch these dogs in action more than once!
The National Finals of the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge is a culmination of yearlong, intense training and competition at regional events, showcasing the top athletic dogs from all over the country. It features dogs competing in a multitude of "Olympic-style" events, including high flying disc routines, head-to-head weave pole racing, large and small dog agility courses, Jack Russell hurdle racing (who knew?) and a crowd favorite—dog diving.
Semi-spoiler alert: This year's broadcast features a record-breaking diving dog!
So far this winter, I've broken the record for the world's earliest bedtime for a canine..
