In belated honor of yesterday's International Cat Day 2014, we're excited to bring you these most unusual and charming videos of, well, cats. But these kitties are special because they live in Bodegas or small grocery stores in Spanish speaking neighborhoods, and in this case, the Bodegas and their kitties live quite comfortably in various areas of New York City. And they can finally tell their story...in their own words.

What's extra cool about these videos is that the idea was launched by New York City Public Radio and started with a Bodega Cat Photo crowdsourcing project that became so popular, videos were a natural follow-up. We're glad these talented videographers finally let the most popular cats in New York City have their say!
