Yahoo Sports News has provided an update on the stray dogs of Sochi, complete with information about adoption via the Humane Society International. Unfortunately for those of us not living in Russia, but fortunately for the dogs, there's no "shipping" of these pooches-you must pick them up in person. So there is potential for those folks attending the Olympics from the myriad of other countries represented, to bring home a pooch.

Here's hoping that of those approximately 150 or so dogs spared, each finds a loving, forever home. We also hope that the adopters understand that bringing one of these stray dogs home is a bit different than carting home a inanimate Olympic souvenir, and that adoption is for the life of the animal.

We wish them all luck and we hope forever homes are found asap. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
We have our paws crossed fur them to all find good homes... These dogs are getting a lot of publicity... as if it is ONLY a problem in Russia... but honestly it is a WORLD WIDE problem.
