They even have a light pumpkin pie-ish scent, and I think Parental Unit might actually try one—she loves turkey, pumpkin, flaxseed and cinnamon. Take a gander at the short ingredient list (they call it "limited ingredient" because it has only one meat and one starch—and NO sugar of any kind):
Turkey Meal, Peas, Tapioca, Pumpkin, Canola Oil (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols and Citric Acid), Ground Flaxseed, Montmorillonite Clay, Cinnamon, Natural Flavor, Dried Bacillus coagulans Fermentation Product
Thanks to our good friends at Chewy.com, we had the opportunity to sample a box of these luscious dog treats. As always, our opinions can't be bought by a box of dog biscuits (well, maybe two boxes!) and are 100% our own.
Should I take one?
I'm not waiting for an answer!
We've had the pleasure of sampling other treats from Nature's Variety courtesy of Chewy.com and could honestly rave about them all. One of the things we like about Nature's Variety is that they're a small, independent company out of Lincoln, Nebraska, and their pet food has been "developed by families who have been practicing sustainable agriculture for more than 140 years." Right up our environmentally conscious alley!
And guess what? These very dog treats, along with other Nature's Variety products, are currently on sale at Chewy.com—and given Chewy's lightening fast delivery, they'll be at your doorstep well before Turkey Day. Enjoy!
