Nat Geo's "The Secret Life Of Dogs"

Our DVR is already set for this hour long special event on the National Geographic "WILD" channel, scheduled for Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 9:00 pm EST. "The Secret Life of Dogs" is billed as "part natural history, part science and pure celebration of man's best friend." (We hope it's equally a celebration of woman's best friend!) The special will combine the latest in science with special photography techniques, slow motion footage and thermal imaging to give us the scoop on how dogs "see, smell and experience the world around them", and perhaps gain insight into why they have been our faithful companions for hundreds of thousands of years.
