As a continuation of pet safety month over at BlogPaws, and because it's so darn hot across much of the U.S. (it's roasting here in Ohio), today's feature is "keeping your pets cool". So how do you and your pets keep cool during this horribly hot and humid weather? Let us know!
In my neck of the woods, I rid our muddy back yard of squirrels in the early morning - note my paws.
Take a nice refreshing bath (not necessarily after getting my paws muddy)
And stretch out on the cool floor after a short game of fetch in my air conditioned home.
Parental Unit says I'm a pretty lucky fella...
Now, are we ready to join the BlogPaws Wordless Wednesday Hop?

Sounds like a good way to keep cool - except for the bath.
Squirrel chasing is the best but the bath is the worst. Have a wonderful Wednesday and stay cool.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks for the good advice (except the bath one)! I hope you can check out my fabulous giveaway I am having starting tomorrow! Love Dolly

Not fans of water, but man are we addicted to the A/C
I'm definitely not a fan of baths...but there's no stopping Parental Unit!

You look very cool. We are lucky to live at high altitude where it rarely gets hot. The main thing that we do is never ever leave our dogs in the car alone when we go to town at lower elevation where it is hot!
The way my Momma keeps me cool is by wetting my head and ears while outside. She also fills my water bowl and adds a lot of ice. ANd she does not let me stay out but a few minutes after I've circled the wagon, er, done my business. Today our thermometer read at 100 degrees - now that's HOT! WOOF!
