Animal Rights Groups Are Having A Tiff

We just wrote an entire post, that oddly disappeared, when we attempted to add a link..., and we're not going to rewrite it...dang! Anyhoo, we wanted to share a story from Sunday's New York Times that caught our eye, and made us quite angry. It seems that PETA is euthanizing practically all of the animals that enter its shelter, quite contrary to the tenants of the "no kill" or limited euthanasia policies that many other shelters across the country have embraced in the last decade.

We'd love to hear what you think about PETA's position on euthanasia. Let us know!

I have to say, I pretty much disagree with everything PETA does. Their ultimate goal is for humans to not own any animals, for any reason, including domestic pets like dogs and cats. There is no way I can support, in any way shape or form, a group with such an ultimate goal.

We are surprised to read this. Please do update us if you find out more. Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly

I'd read this previously and it only reinforced my belief that PETA is a sham and deserves no support from those who truly care about our animals

Old news to me but still disgusting and reprehensible. I have zero respect for PETA as they're liars, frauds and hypocrites. Total fanatics with no reasonable measure of right or wrong.

Well said, all! Wish my original post hadn't disappeared...PETA's reasoning, at least as stated in this article, is way illogical...
