Some stories just make your heart sing, and we think this is one of them. It was reported on the Huffington Post just yesterday that two young dogs-malnourished and in need of medical care-walked themselves to a (human) hospital emergency room in Corpus Christi, Texas, quietly walked in the front door and waited patiently for help.
Here's a photo of one of the emaciated pups who received treatment from the hospital's kind staff.
After receiving some kind of basic medical care at the human hospital, a local TV station transported the canines to the Gulf Coast Humane Society, where they'll be nursed back to health and eventually ready for adoption. We think (and hope) that these super-smart pups will have no trouble getting a good home...
