We ran across this piece on the Huffington Post and were taken with its beautiful writing and heartfelt sentiment. How do we deal with the loss of a pet? Is it "O.K" to feel sad, depressed, angry, heartbroken? And can we cry until we have to put frozen corn dogs on our eyes to ease the swelling, as this woman did after the loss of her beloved cat, Mangia?
Mangia, named after an Austin, Texas pizza parlor. Photo courtesy of The Huffington Post
The author, Mary K. Moore, takes us on her journey from the emergency room decision to let Mangia go, back through their history together, showing us why her grief was deep and wide. Take a minute to join her on this journey that all pet lovers will inevitably face. You'll be glad you did.

Beautiful story, thanks for sharing.
Dear Bocci,
Sorry for not dropping by in awhile. Mom has her own site now so we went there more often and forgot to update our own blog. Please drop by to our recent post and leave a comment so we could ask our mom to add you onto her site. I hope we could still keep a contact since I love to read about your post :)
Love,
Autumn & Jasmine
