We'd like to urge all of our readers to please take a minute and write a short post on your blog that mentions the Pedigree Foundation and this year's "Write A Post, Help A Dog" campaign to help shelter dogs. For every post written, Pedigree will donate 20 pounds of food, (up to a whopping 10,000 pounds!), to shelters in the Northeast that are shouldering the extra burden of pets displaced by Hurricane Irene. The names of the shelters will be announced shortly.
We have only a few more days to reach our 10,000 pound goal-the campaign runs through this Saturday, September 3, so please chip in with a post before you get caught up in the holiday weekend festivities.

We did our post for the Pedigree Foundation. Is it correct that we don't have to do anything for them to count our bloggie post? If we Do have to do something, like link someplace or something, please let us know - we'll do it, and we'll add it to our post, so other posters will know, too. Thanks!
