We just learned of this very generous and health promoting campaign by our friends at Greenies Brand, called "Wag & Walk 4 Life". In celebration of our nation's birth and the men and woman who help protect it, they're asking us pet enthusiasts to visit the Greenies Facebook page sometime between Monday, June 27 and Monday July 11, and pledge to walk with your pet a certain distance each week-that's it! Visit their page and make the pledge now. We just did and it's super easy!

In return, the Greenies Brand will donate $5 to Freedom Service Dogs, based in Ennglewood, Colorado, to help support the training of service dogs for placement with disabled war veterans. What a good idea. We sure will do that. Mom usually takes us for a walk somewhere every day. Our older dog cannot walk too much especially during the hot weather. We certainly will join up though.
Sounds like a great thing. Love hearing when companies give back.
