We got a kick out of this article posted by Jonah Goldberg of the National Review, online edition, called "Dogs of War", that discussed our four-legged companions unending loyalty and work ethic. By our sides at Ground Zero and the attack that killed Osama bin Laden, we owe much to our canine companions, Goldberg says. But cats? They're another matter.

And speaking of cats sleeping through, well, everything, take a look at these five sleeping kittens-all looking for loving homes. If anyone in the Ohio area is interested in adopting one or more of these six week old cuties, just let me or Parental Unit know. They belong to a friend of ours who looks after the stray cats who come into her yard...these kitties' momma will be spayed shortly thanks to the generosity of our friend.
