One of our favorite T.V journalists, Steve Hartman from CBS News (his segments on CBS News Sunday Morning are always smart, funny and touching), paid a visit to the Burlington, Iowa Humane Society to put together this "gotta love it" story and video of a mother dog with no puppies to nurse and...well, we'll let you watch the rest!

We love Steve Hartman and his reports too...'n when ya see how animals can get along....don't ya have ta wonder why the whole world get get along too? But I have ta wonder if those kittens might grow up thinkin' they are dogs 'n not cats...what do ya think?

Precious. I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and have fed and taken care of many litters of kittens that ended up on our back porch in our old neighborhood. Heartwarming. Oh and I am following you back:)
