This sweet picture was taken by my personal photographer, Rachel, from rachellaurenphotography, as were all the other vintage photos previously posted on Vintage Friday.
As I mentioned before, Rachel is not only an extremely talented photographer, but a young lady dedicated to helping homeless animals. She donates quite a bit of her time and talents to helping several local, "no kill" rescue organizations, and additionally donates a portion of her profits from her photography business to these organizations.
She recently had a close call with her beloved rescue dog, Zero, and has chosen to use her blog to write a very powerful post on the benefits of a raw food diet for dogs. You can read that piece and see some wonderful pictures of Zero and her new rescue puppy, Oliver, right here:

Now, please remember that Parental Unit and I are passing this on for informational purposes only-we think you all will enjoy and be inspired by Rachel's passion and knowledge about this issue. We're not taking sides on what kind of food you should feed your dog, but we have always stressed that your choices should be informed ones! And we hope you'll take the time to do a bit of research on your own, about the ingredients in the food you feed your furry family members.
Thanks and enjoy!
P.S. Stay tuned for some fun from one of our blogger friends!

Hi - I just added you to my blog roll! Sorry, sometimes I forget to update it!
Your pal , Pip
thanks Bocci for visiting my blog. I have put myself down as a follower of you blog and put your blog in my 'friends of another species' list, with Keisha, my other dog friend. Although we are not of the same species, we both have a lot in common. Lynettea says that what we have most in common is 'being spoiled rotten', but surely that is only what we deserve.
Hi there Bocci
We will pop over to see Rachel's blog now.
Lovely photograph.
Hector and Bonny too!
xx
That is a terrific picture Bocci. We will go visit Rachael's blog too. Raw food is good but it is a little expensive but I think it is very healthy for the dogs or cats.
Have a great week end.
Thanks for the post about us Bocci!
I also wanted to chime in, that when you find the right sourcing raw feeding is actually cheaper than kibble. It costs me $25/month for weekly supplies of meat for my dogs (less than a bag of 'high quality' kibble)...farmers are also another good source, if you happen to know any or there are any nearby! :)
You are one very handsome dude and we love seeing your pictures.
Thanks for not taking sides in the food debate.

I'm kind of new to your blog, Bocci. I'm going to have to search it for your vintage pictures. They sound rather pawsome.

Wow, that is a good piksher. Arf arf! :)
Great picture Bocci! Tell Rachel thank you for all that she does.
