Parental Unit paid a visit over the holidays to Kim and Henry, her two friends who just happen to spend tons of their time rescuing dogs. Kim is a professional dog trainer (Diablo just officially retired from agility competition), dog groomer, and Airdale, Wire Fox, and other terrier rescue person. In fact she heads up the rescue team here in Ohio. What a gal! She placed 43 dogs this year alone, and was making a 4 hour drive on New Year's Day to pick up a Welsh Terrier in need.
You know, both Angus and Patrick were rescues and look at them now-living in the lap of luxury! (Or on Kim and Henry's lap-check out the pics!)
So when you get a hankering for true love, forget Match.com and look up the rescue groups for your favorite breed-or just head to your local pound-you might get really lucky and find a dog like me!
Oh yeah, here's a picture of my Parental Unit with Diablo and Angus -can you believe that she went without me? Do you see all the food?
